Frederick Phillip Case III of Roy, Utah, passed way Thursday, February 14, 2008. He was 48.
He was born November 16, 1959, in Lansing to Frederick and Judith (nee Malnar) Case and was graduated from Seoul American High School in Korea.
Mr. Case worked as a tax examining technician with the Internal Revenue Service for 22 years and was active in the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU) Chapter 67, at the Ogden (Utah) Center. During his career, he was assigned to temporary duty at IRS offices in Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Michigan, and California.
He loved to travel and meet people and took pleasure in giving gifts to family and friends, who will remember him for his sense of humor and enthusiasm.
He is survived by his mother, his sister, Deirdre of Utah, a brother, Tom of California, his grandmother, Elma Rubin of St. Ignace, aunts, an uncle, and extended family in Michigan and California.
His father passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008.
A memorial service has been held and burial of his cremains will be in Michigan at a later date.
