Samual Otten Receives Awards from Michigan State University

Samuel Otten, a 2002 graduate of Rudyard High School, received two honors from Michigan State University in February.

Mr. Otten has been named a Rasmussen Fellow by the Michigan State University Graduate School, an honor that is given in recognition of demonstrated scholarship and integrity, and was bestowed upon 11 students this year.

He has also been selected for a Dean's Scholar Award from the Michigan State University College of Education, the most prestigious award for advanced graduate study in this college, which is ranked number one in the nation.

Mr. Otten is finishing his second year of graduate study in mathematics and mathematics education, and is working toward a doctorate degree.
