Marlene and Stan Kennedy of Pickford are pleased to share information about their son, Stanley Oakman Kennedy Jr., who has joined Radyne Corporation's Aero- Astro business unit as the vice president of advanced systems. His experience in this field will support development of innovative solutions in government and commercial space markets. He will be based in Ashburn, Virginia.
Mr. Kennedy Jr. has more than 22 years of experience in the space industry. Before joining AeroAstro, he served as senior program manager for developing innovative small satellite systems and concepts for Lockheed Martin Space Systems in Denver, Colorado.
The "New Testament Rewinds" will be performed Easter Sunday at 8 a.m., at the Presbyterian Church on the corner of M-129 and John Street.
This is the sequel to the play given in 2006, "Old Testament Rewinds," which was so popular that the group was asked to perform in 15 other churches in the area, on both sides of the Mackinac Bridge.

The director is Dr. Richard Morrison, with Paul Morrison, Ruby Harper, Charlie Halsey, Michael Decker, and Callie Smith doing the dramatization.
The Holy Week schedule starts with Maundy Thursday Communion service at 7 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church. Friday the Methodist Church will hold a community wide service at 7 p.m. Sunday morning the Presbyterian Church schedule begins at 8 a.m. with the Sunrise Easter Play, followed by breakfast at 9 a.m.; the Resurrection Celebration Service is at 10 a.m. The fourth through sixth grade group called the Super Upper Fellowship will lead the Liturgy, and the Praise Team will be from Anchor House at Lake Superior University in Sault Ste. Marie.
More Presbyterian Church news is that the older youth group just returned from a trip to the Breslin Center, at Michigan State University in East Lansing, to see the National Christian Concert Series called "Winter Jam." Those included in the trip were Koryn Beacom, Laycee Nettleton, Lance Nettleton, Paul Morrison, Anna St. Andrew, Amber St. Andrew, Alicia Manfrin, and three advisors, Ruby Harper, Sara Bohn, and Pastor Ron Bohn.

Marcia Herzburg-Dicky, a cook at Main Street Café, is called "The Hat Lady" because she wears a different hat daily. Saturday, March 15, she wore a St. Patrick's Day, tall green hat and sang "Danny Boy" with Jim Lockhart and six other musicians accompanying her.
Cliff Harrison, 88, played his harmonica. Mr. Harrison is a Pickford resident and former co-owner of Pickford Meat Plant.
He carries a case with six or more harmonicas, each for the different keys.
John S. McDonald of Pickford reports that the Lions Club will sponsor the next blood drive at the Pickford Town Hall Tuesday, April 1, from noon until 5:45 p.m.
