Brevort
By Lois Movalson 292-5581

Top and at right: AfterWorld War II, construction resumed on the Cut River Bridge, three miles west of Brevort. Priscilla and Russ Revord were invited by a relative, who was a construction engineer on the project, to come and view the job in progress. He drove their car to the edge of the roadbed overlooking the Cut River Gorge. She recalls it was quite a thrill. This was around the same time the couple moved from Chicago to make their home in Brevort, she said. (Photographs courtesy of Priscilla Revord)
