Environmental Farming Program Planned April 3

A workshop entitled "Small and Medium Size Farms and the Environment" will be presented Thursday, April 3, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Mackinaw Area Public Library in Mackinaw City. The cost is $15 per person. Register by calling (231) 627-8815.

Participants will learn about determining a farm's environmental impact, making sense of environmental regulations, finding practical management solutions, and the Right to Farm act.

The workshop will be hosted by Michigan State University Extension.
