Calvin and Erica (nee Cena) Mattson of St. Ignace announce the birth of their daughter, Madilyn Therese, born Sunday, March 2, 2008, at Northern Michigan Regional Hospital in Petoskey. She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces at birth, the same as her mother's birth weight, and measured 20.5 inches in length.

Grandparents are Bob and Barb Cena of St. Ignace, Richard and Teresa Heisser of Lansing, and Bonnie Mattson of Lake Odessa.
