Saints Bowlers Recognized for Their Outstanding Season
Binger, Colegrove Named Most Valuable Bowlers for St. Ignace

Senior Chris Binger and junior Meghann Colegrove were named the most valuable bowlers for the St. Ignace Saints this year by Coach Terri Allan during the team's annual awards banquet Wednesday, March 12.

Binger, who qualified for the individual state tournaments, bowled a personal best 257 and averaged 202 on the season. Colegrove, who was among the girls state qualifiers, rolled a season high 215, and averaged 160 on the season.

Senior Josh Feldman and junior Sara Tafelski were named the most improved bowlers, and seniors Jamin Corwin and Melissa Brown received coach's awards.

Feldman bowled a season high 207 and averaged 154; Tafelski high game of 187 and 151 average; Corwin high game of 240 and 180 average, and Brown 209 high game and 141 average.

Remaining members of the team include Brooke Allan, who bowled a season-high 187 and averaged 146; Jaimee Bloxsom, 176 high game and 143 average; Anna Krause, 167 high game and 133 average; Andy Mullins, 190 high game and 144 average, and Patric Schlehuber, 224 high game and 161 average.

Five seniors bowled with the team for the final time. They are Melissa Brown, Jaimee Bloxsom, Chris Binger, Josh Feldman, and Jamin Corwin.

"This group has dedicated themselves to the bowling program and will be missed," said Coach Allan. "We will have a strong group of bowlers returning for next season."
