Chippewa County Democrats Host Spaghetti Dinner, Auction

The Chippewa County Democratic Party will host its annual spaghetti dinner and auction Saturday, April 5, at the Christopher Columbus Hall in Sault Ste. Marie. The event will start with a social hour at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m., followed by a short program, and live and silent auctions.

The dinner provides an opportunity for county Democrats to meet their elected local and state officials, as well as officers and members of the county party. State Representative Gary McDowell will attend this year.

County Commissioner Earl Kay will host the program, and the live auction will be conducted by County Commissioner Ted Postula. The program will also include the announcement of the 2007 Chippewa Democrat of the Year.
