Nancy Greig

Nancy Lee Greig of Kelden grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. She moved to Michigan in 1961 and to Kelden in 1986. She was 71 when she died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Hearthside in Sault Ste. Marie.

She was born July 8, 1936, in Indianapolis to Joseph Ervin and Laura (nee Latta) Greig.

Ms. Greig enjoyed reading, using her computer, playing cards, listening to music, and watching movies. She was a founding member of the Kelden Kumquats Card Club.

She is survived by her partner, Ellen Libby of Pickford; three nieces and their families, Kathy and James Smiddy, Debbie and Calvin Hetterich, and Beverly and Michael Baxter, all of Ohio; a sister-in-law, Pat Greig of Ohio, and five nieces and their families, Nancy and Roger Scales, Charmaine Fortin, Rachelle and Artie LaVigne, Vickee and Mark Spring, and Anne and Dave Clarke.

Ms. Greig was preceded in death by her parents and by one brother, James Greig.

Reamer Galer Funeral Home of Pickford assisted the family with arrangements.
