Margaret Praasterink

Margaret Mary Praasterink, infant daughter of Teresa (nee Binger) and James Praasterink, was born and died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.

She leaves behind many loved ones, including her 18-month-old brother, Daniel James; her grandparents, Denise and Randy Binger of St. Ignace and Karen and Donald Praasterink of Rudyard; her maternal great-grandparents, Peg Binger of St. Ignace and Gail and Bill Howland of Rudyard; her paternal great-grandparents, Kathleen and Donald Praasterink of Grandville and Mary Jane Verburg of Grand Rapids, and her aunts and uncles, Everette Binger of Grand Rapids, Daniel Praasterink of Grand Rapids, Trevor and Kate MacLeod of California, and Laura Binger of Phoenix, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, Louie Mayer of Rudyard, James Verburg of Grand Rapids, and Paul Binger of St. Ignace, her great-uncle, Paul Binger Jr. of St. Ignace, and a cousin, Rebecca Langstaff of Fibre.

A funeral mass was celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Phoenix Tuesday, March 18.

Burial will be in June at Gros Cap Cemetery in Moran Township.

Memorial donations can be made to Teresa and James Praasterink, N994 Martin Lake Road, St. Ignace 49781, for the burial fund. Donations can also be made to a local Right to Life Foundation in memory of Margaret Mary Praasterink.
