Comets 2-2
Mackinaw City's baseball team is 2-2 after the first week of the season as the Comets swept the Atlanta Huskies 17-4 and 13-0 Monday, April 14, before falling to the Pellston Hornets 5-3 and 7-2 Friday, April 18.

Logan Paquet was the winning pitcher for the Comets in the road opener against the Huskies and led the offense with four hits and five runs batted in (RBI).

Nick Dullack added two hits; three RBIs, Zach Milholin and Kyle Weatherwax chipped in two hits and two RBIs, and Brandyn Clemens and Adam Alexander had two hits.

Austin Martin picked up the win in the nightcap at Atlanta, while Brandyn Clemens recorded three hits, Klaus Jaggi added two hits, and Logan Paquet chipped in one hit and two RBIs.

During the home opener against the Hornets, Logan Paquet nailed a two-run homer and Brandyn Clemens earned two hits.
