Local Schools Join ACES Exercise Class

Classes of Eastern U.P. students will help Michigan retain its record as the state with the most participation in the world's largest exercise class when students from all 50 states and 50 countries participate in All Children Exercise Simultaneously (ACES) Day Wednesday, May 7, at 10 a.m.

ACES is a one-day youth exercise program intended to highlight the importance of youth fitness. Local schools participating in ACES include St. Ignace Elementary and Middle Schools, Gros Cap School, Brimley Elementary, JKL Bahweting, Lincoln Elementary, and Sault Area Middle School.

Last year, more than 1,000 schools and almost 450,000 students participated.
