Alice Dell celebrated her 90th birthday with friends and family. Pictured in the six-generation photograph are (from left) her greatgreat granddaughter Rebecca Wilson, great-great-great-grandson Blake Wilson, granddaughter Iva Wilson, daughter Roberta Gadaleto, Mrs. Dell (seated), and great-grandson Jonathan Wilson.
Alice Dell, with the sparkling eyes and great sense of humor, was honored recently at her 90th birthday, surrounded by family and friends. Ms. Dell, born Alice McCarry, is the daughter of Thomas and Pearl McCarry of Trout Lake. She has enjoyed watching her family grow, and it currently boasts six generations.

Congratulations to Amber and Paul Hoholik on the arrival of their son, Bennett Paul Nicholas Hoholik. Grandmother is Amber Swanson, and greatgrandparents are Wilda and Don Fredericks of Rexton. Great-great-grandmother is Rosie Prater of Garnet.

Mothers enjoying a visit from their kids on "their day" included Mary Ellen Stephenson, with Earl Jr., Cindy and Michael Dean Stephenson of Manistique, along with Mike and Cathy Kolomitz of Lake Orion, spending the day with mom.

Everyone may join the neighboring communities Saturday, May 17, at the fellowship hall of the Rexton Mennonite Church at the appreciation dinner for the Hendricks and Hudson townships volunteer fire department personnel.

The first Spring Fling and Green and Gold revue Saturday, May 10, at the Engadine school was an overwhelming success, owing to the hard work and many hours dedicated to the project by members of the sports boosters, education foundation, students, faculty, and community members. I'm sure it will show up next spring on the calendar again.
