Writing Contest Deadline Is June 1

The Upper Peninsula of Michigan Writers Association is hosting a writing contest open to Upper Peninsula adults and children in grades four through 12 (or age 10 and older if home schooled). Entry forms are available at community libraries. All entries must be postmarked by June 1.

The adult contest categories are rhyming poetry, non-rhyming poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. The children's contest categories are poetry, non-fiction, and personal narrative.
