Rudyard's Otten To Perform at Evening of Arts May 15

Samuel Otten, a graduate of Rudyard High School and a locally known composer, has written a choral piece entitled, "And Nero Played," which will be premiered at Rudyard High School's Evening of the Arts Thursday, May 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the school's multipurpose facility.

Examples of student art work will be on display. The high school concert band, chorus, chorale, men's group, and the girls quartet that earned a "I" rating at the State Vocal Solo and Ensemble Festival will be featured.

Awards for excellence will be announced during the concert, and the seniors who are members of the performing groups will be honored.
