Sponsors Sought for Project Backpack

The Mackinac County Child Protection Roundtable is seeking sponsors for Project Backpack. The project helps families needing extra assistance in getting their children ready for the new school year by providing students with a new backpack filled with school supplies, personal hygiene items, and a new outfit complete with shoes. Sponsors will be matched up with a boy or girl from kindergarten to eighth grade.
