Court Reports The following dispositions are from 92nd District Court in St. Ignace July 7 and July 8, Judge Beth Gibson presiding. Arresting agencies are in parentheses. The court does not distinguish between jail time to be served immediately and jail sentences that are suspended. • Harold Middleton, 17, of St. Ignace, pleaded guilty to attempted resisting and obstructing and minor in possession, and was assessed a fine of $400, 365 days in jail, 12 months probation, and 30 hours community service. (Mackinac Island Police) • Jordan Grogan, 21, of St. Ignace, pleaded guilty to disorderly person, and was assessed a fine of $150 or 15 days in jail, and $225 in attorney fees. ( St. Ignace City Police) • Japhett John-Joseph Gallagher, 22, of Stanton, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court on one count arson - dwelling house curtilage. (Michigan State Police) • James Potter, 23, of Engadine, pleaded guilty to animals-abandoning/ cruelty to one causing death, and was assessed a fine of $250, 365 days in jail, 24 months probation, and $225 in attorney fees. (Michigan State Police) • Joseph Nickerson, 20, of Grand Rapids, pleaded guilty to illegal entry, and was assessed a fine of $475, 90 days in jail, six months probation, and 45 days on a tether.
