Commercial Fishing Gear Sought

The St. Ignace Special Events Committee is looking for commercial fishing memorabilia for an exhibit during the Fish Feast and Bridge Celebration Saturday, July 26.

Pictures, artifacts, and any items to do with fishing in the area, said Lynne Piippo of the committee, are appreciated, and would be protected and returned to owners after the event.

The organization also is looking for those who have stories about commercial fishing and who would be willing to share them with visitors during the festival.
