Saints Hoopsters Host Golf Tourney

The St. Ignace Saints basketball program will host its sixth annual Three Person Golf Scramble at Mackinaw Club in Mackinaw City Saturday, August 2.

Tee time is a shotgun start at 11:33 a.m.

Cost of the tourney is $150 per team, which includes a cart, chicken dinner, and special events to benefit the LaSalle High School basketball program.

Moving the event to Mackinaw City allows the field to be increased to an 18-hole course and and hold it in August instead of September, said tournament director Doug Ingalls. St. Ignace, where the tournament traditionally takes place, has a nine-hole golf course.
