Pat and Maureen Brady of St. Ignace welcomed family and friends to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at Black Forest Restaurant in Frankenmuth Friday, July 25. The invitation read, "It's back to the '50s; bring your dancing shoes and even an old prom dress." An eight-piece band played big-band style music from the 1940s and '50s. They were hosted by their seven children and their spouses, Rose and Dan Mills, Neal and Lois Brady, Colleen and Lenny Calo, Kevin and Heather Brady, Sara and Ron Meyer, Lynn and Drew Murray, and Helen and David Hautz. They were joined by their 28 grandchildren and about 100 guests.

Mr. Brady is a retired high school administrator who now enjoys selling and promoting a variety of Michigan honeys. Mrs. Brady is a retired registered dietitian and owner of The Emporium in downtown St. Ignace. They enjoy visits with their children, and watching their grandchildren's games and activities.
