The St. Ignace Junior Saints football team defeated Sault Ste. Marie 8-0 Saturday, September 6, at Cedarville.
The game's only touchdown came late in the fourth quarter on a scoring pass from Curtis St. Louis to Zach Harrington. St. Louis completed four of 13 passes; Joey Ostman, 18 carries for 94 yards; Richard Bentley, five carries for 22 yards; Chase DeKeyser, one carry for 16 yards; Joey Krause five carries for 15 yards; Ben Byearski, three carries for eight yards. No defensive statistics were available.
The St. Ignace Junior Saints defeated Pickford 34-6 Saturday, September 13, at Rudyard.
