Mike Demske and Lindsay Harmon

Irene Fenlon of St. Ignace announces the engagement of her grandson, Mike Demske of Stevensville, to Lindsay Harmon of Iron River.

Miss Harmon is the daughter of Jerry and Julie Harmon of Iron River. She is a 1997 graduate of West Iron County High School and a 2001 graduate of Northern Michigan University, where she earned two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in public relations and the other in psychology. She earned her master's degree in marketing and organizational behavior in 2004 from Lawrence Technological University. She is the director of marketing and human resources at Iron County Community Hospital in Iron River.

Mr. Demske is the son of Tom and Anne Demske of Stevensville. He is a 1996 graduate of Stevensville Lake Shore High School and a 2001 graduate of Northern Michigan University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing. He is employed as a service representative at Office Planning Group in Iron Mountain.

A summer 2009 wedding is planned.
