The win continues the Trojans' winning streak to 16, a streak that began last season.

The last regular season loss for the Trojans came at the hands of the North Dickinson Nordics on the final game of the 2006 campaign.

"We are playing a balanced game, but we must get healthy from some nagging injuries for the last two games of the regular season and into the playoffs," said Trojans Coach Scott Barr.

C.J. Paquin completed two scoring passes in the first quarter on 25 yards to Tyler Anderson at 11:05, and 40 yards to Luke Murray at 8:33. Andrew Figures kicked the extra points for a 14-0 lead.

Paquin continued his aerial assault with a 20-yard scoring strike to Zach McFarlane during the first 11 seconds of the second quarter. The senior quarterback also dashed 50 yards to the oneyard line, scoring on the next play for the Trojans' fourth touchdown. Figures added an extra point for a 27-0 Cedarville advantage.

McFarlane scored from five yards out and Figures chipped in his fourth extra points.

The Cedarville defense recorded a two-point safety after the Jets' fourth down snap went through the end zone, giving the Trojans a 36- 0 halftime lead.

North Central (1-6) avoided the shut out with an early fourth-quarter touchdown.

Murray completed the scoring for Cedarville with a 78-yard punt return in the final 12 minutes, and Figures add the extra point.

The Trojans travel to Pickford to take on the Panthers (3-3) Friday, October 17, and close out the season with road game at Iron Mountain North Dickinson (5-2) Friday, October 24. Both games are MEFL key contests.
