Game Night Begins at Les Cheneaux Library

Thursday nights in January will be game nights at the Les Cheneaux Community Library, located at 75 Hodek Street in Cedarville. Adults, teens, children, and families are all invited to enjoy board games and refreshments at the library from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Library games include Apples to Apples, Pictureka, Trivial Pursuit, Yahtzee, Scrabble, and others. Game night begins Thursday, January 8.

A book club for adults is also scheduled this winter, where readers will be able to choose from 12 mystery, fantasy, Michigan notable, cultural fiction, and bestseller books. Participants will receive a 10% discount coupon from Safe Harbor Books for joining the club.

Readers may also enter into a drawing to win a holiday gift package from Great Turtle Cake Company, which includes an Easter cookie basket, Fourth of July brownies, and a holiday cake. Those who finish all 12 books will receive a gift, and an April reception is planned for book discussions and awards. Register for the club at the library circulation desk.
