Gros Cap Students Are Graduated From DARE

Nine fifth grade students at Gros Cap School were graduated Tuesday, December 9, from the DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program. The 10-week course gives students tools to stay away from tobacco and alcohol. The graduates are (front row, from left) Angela Nowack, Andrew Goldthorpe, Ben Doran; (middle row) Cole Garen, Tiffany Obeshaw, Taylor Schnicke, James Pollard, Tristan Calcaterra, and Jaina Dunikowski. Standing at top (last row) are Michigan State Trooper Fred Strich, class instructor, Deputy Sheriff Robert Muter, and Mackinac County Prosecuting Attorney Fred Feleppa.
