Clark Township Board of Trustees December 18, 2008 7:00 P.M. Call to order and Pledge of Allegiance: 7:00 P.M. Trustees Present: Miller, Carpenter, Hill, Lofdahl, Wellnitz

Carpenter moved to approve the consent agenda as amended. Miller seconded: Roll call vote: Ayes: Hill, Lofdahl, Wellnitz, Miller, Carpenter Motion carried.

Old Business: A motion was made by Lofdahl that we ask the DDA Research committee to do the power point presentation and help answer questions at the Public Hearing. Miller seconded. Roll call vote: Ayes: Lofdahl, Carpenter, Miller, Hill, Wellnitz. Motion carried.

Flood Plain Management Ordinance: This was tabled so that more research could be done before making a final decision.

Legal Judgment: Mike Miller made a motion to enter into a legal judgment with our Township Attorney and/or Roger Swets if need be. Wellnitz seconded: Roll call vote: Ayes: Wellnitz, Carpenter, Miller, Hill, Lofdahl. Motion carried.

New Business: Small Harbor Coalition: Motion was made by Wellnitz to fund one vehicle for mileage down and back and one meal per person attending the Small Craft Harbors Meeting in Mt. Pleasant January 27, 2009. Lofdahl seconded. Roll call vote: Ayes: Wellnitz, Carpenter, Hill, Miller, Lofdahl. Motion carried.

2009 Dates & Times of Clark Twp. Regular Board Meetings: Motion was made by Lofdahl to approve the dates and the times for the months of Dec., Jan., Feb., and March to be held at 6:00 P.M. and the remainder of the year held at 7:00 P.M. Wellnitz seconded. All Ayes. Motion carried.

Board of Review Appointments: Motion was made by Lofdahl to reappoint these 3 men to the Board of Review for the next two years. Carpenter seconded. Roll call vote: Ayes: Wellnitz, Carpenter, Hill, Miller, Lofdahl. Motion carried.

Bottomland Conveyance: Ayers and Carrington. Motion was made by Lofdahl to approve the Resolution for Bottomland Conveyance for Ayers and Carrington. Carpenter seconded. Roll call vote. Ayes: Wellnitz, Carpenter, Hill, Miller, Lofdahl. .

Sewer Advisory Board Appointment: Motion was made by Hill to appoint Jon Shoberg to fulfill Steve Autore's term. Miller seconded. Roll call vote: Ayes: Wellnitz, Carpenter, Hill, Miller, Lofdahl. Motion carried. Skating Rink at the Community Center: Motion was made by Miller to institute the skating rink at the Community Center rules and times will be looked into by Rick Shapero, Mike Miller and Gerald Hill. Lofdahl seconded. All Ayes. Motion Carried.

Motion was made to make a policy that would allow 2 Board members authority to make attorney calls and log them in the Clerk's office. Lofdahl seconded. Roll call vote: Ayes: Wellnitz, Carpenter, Hill, Miller, Lofdahl. Motion carried.

Lofdahl motioned to adjourn. Carpenter seconded.
