      Senior Mike McNeely of St. Ignace was named outstanding lightweight wrestler (103-pound to 140-pound class) during the Rogers City Invitational Saturday, December 27, but it was not enough for a victory, as the Saints were edged out by the Gladstone Braves 38-37 for the team championship.

Deadline Nears for College Level Classes at St. Ignace
      The deadline to register for college-level algebra and communications classes to be held in St. Ignace is Thursday, January 15. A three-credit interpersonal communication course and a fourcredit beginning algebra class are offered through North Central Michigan College of Petoskey. Skate Rates Increase for Tribal Members
      Beginning Monday, January 5, Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians members will pay $2 for open skate sessions at Little Bear East Arena in St. Ignace, $1 discount from the standard rate of $3. The increase is part of a city goal to increase the facility's revenue.
