The St. Ignace Public Library Kids Book Club will meet Thursday, January 8, at 5 p.m., at the library. The book club is geared toward students in fifth through eighth grades, and parents, relatives, or mentors are also invited to read the books and participate in the discussion.

This month's book is "River Thunder" by Will Hobbs. Books are supplied by the Friends of the Library, and are available at the circulation desk. Pizza will be provided and participants can receive prizes.

Movie Night will feature "E.T." (rated PG) Tuesday, January 22, at 6:15 p.m. Refreshments are provided by the Friends of the Library. All movies are free and open to the public.
