The deadline to register for college-level algebra and communications classes to be held in St. Ignace is Thursday, January 15.

A three-credit interpersonal communication course and a fourcredit beginning algebra class are offered through North Central Michigan College of Petoskey. The classes are scheduled to begin Monday, January 19, at LaSalle High School.

Credits from both classes apply toward several degree programs offered at the college and may be transferred to other colleges.

Cost for the communication course is $342.60. The algebra class costs $456.80.

Enrollment and registration for the college courses is available online at www.ncmich.edu.

A non-credit, six-week beginning computer class also is being offered by St. Ignace Area Schools instructors Andrew Long and Pat Chargo. Cost for the class is $100 and registration is through the St. Ignace Chamber of Commerce.
