Ice Follies Will Feature Local Talent This Sunday
      National champion figure skaters will take to the ice, performing in the fourth annual Ice Follies at Little Bear East Arena in St. Ignace Sunday, February 8, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds from the event will support the Mackinac County Child Protection Roundtable for Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention.

Track, Racers in Top Shape for I-500
This Weekend
      "The track looks wonderful and Mother Nature has been absolutely fantastic for us this year," said Jan Bailey of this weekend's I-500 snowmobile race. Ms. Bailey is on the event planning committee. About 24 teams are expected to compete, and teams can register until Friday.
