An enhanced snowmobile poker run begins Saturday, February 14, sponsored by the Straits Area Snowmobile Club. Trail riders can register from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Driftwood Sports Bar in St. Ignace.

Snowmobilers will be challenged to compile the best poker hand and to complete a puzzle. Clues will be given and the answers will lead riders to trail locations. At each of those sites, participants will find a piece of the puzzle, said Neil Hill, one of the coordinators of the event.

Club members will greet snowmobilers at a trail stop on Trail Two, known as the Burma Grade. The trail stop is near the center of the club's trail system, which is about two miles west of Worth Road.

The day will end around 6 p.m. with a spaghetti dinner at the VFW post in St. Ignace. Winners will be announced and prizes presented during the dinner.

Registration is $15 per adult and $10 for children ages 12 and younger.

The fee includes dinner.
