Gloria Ann Johnson, 65, of Engadine, died Monday, February 9, 2009, at her home.

She was born April 12, 1943, in Newberry, to Roy and Anna Hancock.

She married Ivan Johnson February 3, 1962, in Naubinway and the couple made their home in Engadine.

She was a 1961 graduate of Engadine High School, and a member the VFW Post 8372 Ladies Auxiliary. Her hobbies included fishing, camping, and gardening flowers.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Ivan; members of her husband's family, Blanche Vesel of Engadine, Vi Johnson of Little Chute, Wisconsin, and Marjean Hancock of Cheboygan, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Anna; and three brothers, Leroy, Michael, and Arthur.

Services will be held Friday, February 13, 2009, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Gregory's Catholic Church in Newberry, followed by a mass of Christian burial with Father Frank Ricca officiating.

Burial will be in the spring at Engadine Cemetery.
