Job seekers of all ages may attend a Job Fair Friday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to noon at Little Bear East Arena in St. Ignace. Approximately 20 businesses will be available to speak with individuals seeking work. Opportunities exist for part-time, full-time, year around, and seasonal employment.

Individuals seeking work are encouraged to come prepared with the information necessary to fill out applications, share resumes, and talk with staff from participating businesses.

Staff from Michigan Works! will also be on hand to assist people with services available through that office.

Businesses must register by calling the St. Ignace Chamber of Commerce at 643-8717 or Michigan Works! at 643-8158. Tables are free but registration is required to ensure adequate space.

The St. Ignace Job Fair is sponsored by the St. Ignace Chamber of Commerce, Michigan Works!, MSU Extension in Mackinac County, St. Ignace Area Schools, St. Ignace Downtown Development Authority, and Consolidated Community Schools Services.
