Les Cheneaux Community Schools will host the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Festival Tuesday, April 28, in the school's gymnasium. Middle and high school bands from Cedarville, Engadine, Pickford, Central Lake, East Jordan, Ellsworth, Kalkaska, Ontonagon, Painsdale-Jeffers, and Standish-Sterling schools will play between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Students will perform three prepared songs and sight-read two additional songs before judges. The event is open to the public.
