      Edward W. Dodds, 38, of St. Ignace died Monday, April 20, 2009, at Northern Michigan Regional Hospital in Petoskey, as a result of a vehicle accident. He was born August 5, 1970, in Royal Oak. Mr. Dodds was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, the St. Ignace men's bowling league, and he was an avid hunter.

John 'Mr. M' Milkowski
      John "Mr. M." Milkowski was a teacher at Cedarville High School for 34 years. He died in Phoenix, Arizona, Saturday, April 4, 2009, after a short illness. He was 67. He was born in Chicago December 21, 1941. His family moved to Marquette when he was 15, and he was graduated from Graveraet High School in 1959.

      William W. "Bill" Sodders, 80, of Goetzville, was passionate about duck hunting and he crafted some 4,000 wooden, working duck decoys over the years for his family, friends, and for sale. Mr. Sodders passed away quietly Wednesday morning, April 22, 2009, at his home.
