Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance: 7:00 p.m. Trustees Present: Lofdahl, Miller, Hill, Carpenter, Wellnitz

Approval of Agenda: Consent Agenda

Lofdahl moved to drop all consideration of a DDA at this time. Carpenter supported. Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Wellnitz, Miller, Hill, Carpenter, Lofdahl. Motion Carried.

Carpenter moved to approve Pat Carr's Les Cheneaux Watershed Project permission to use the maps that the County Equalization has for us with a disclaimer that they are not intended for legal descriptions. Miller supported. All Ayes. Motion Carried.

Lofdahl moved to approve a letter of authorization for Meridian Road stream crossing improvement project to allow encroachment on the North side of the parking lot. Wellnitz supported. All Ayes. Motion Carried.

Lofdahl moved to not raise the REU rates in a condo development from ? REU to 1 REU. Miller supported. All Ayes. Motion Carried.

Miller moved to not go with the recommendation and not force Mr. Pitko or Mr. Mertaugh to connect to the sewer system. Wellnitz supported. All Ayes. Motion Carried.

Lofdahl moved to not hire C2AE to do a feasibility study to determine if it's feasible for people in Cedarville and Hessel to hook up to the sewer system. Carpenter supported. All Ayes. Motion Carried.

Miller moved to accept the recommendation on this situation from the Sewer Advisory Board. Any pumps removed by the Township belong to the Township and shall be replaced at the current market value at cost to the owner. Carpenter supported. 4 Ayes 1 Nay (Hill)

Lofdahl offered the salary resolutions (at the present salary) for the Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer and Trustees for the Annual Meeting. Wellnitz supported. Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Carpenter, Hill, Miller, Wellnitz, Lofdahl. Motion Carried. Carpenter moved to enter into a Service Agreement for the marina with Smith Sanitation. Wellnitz supported. Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Lofdahl, Miller, Hill, Capenter, Wellnitz. Motion Carried.

Miller moved to approve the Service Contract for the Historical Association to use Township grounds for the Boat Show. Hill supported. All Ayes. Motion Carried.

Lofdahl moved to have Atlas clean the carpets at the Town Hall for $298.41.Carpenter supported. Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Wellnitz, Hill, Miller, Carpenter, Lofdahl. Motion Carried.

Miller moved to send Nora a letter that we're not interested in this particular parcel of land. Carpenter supported. All Ayes. Motion Carried.

Wellnitz moved to adopt the privacy policy as presented to us by the Clark Township Ambulance Corps. Carpenter supported. All Ayes. Motion Carried.

Miller moved to hire Mr. Waybrandt as our interim building and zoning inspector with the contingency that Gerald and Katie's question of: "Can Mr. Waybrandt work as our Building Inspector and sign our permits legally if he is not a State licensed building inspector?" be answered in their call to the State. Wellnitz supported.

Miller amended his motion to include that the position would be paid $250 per week, including mileage, for two days in the office from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and inspections after office hours. Wellnitz supported. Roll Call for Amendment: Ayes: Wellnitz, Lofdahl, Miller, Hill Nays: Carpenter. Amendment Carried.

Roll Call for Motion: Ayes: Wellnits, Lofdahl, Miller, Hill Nays: Carpenter. Motion Carried.

Miller moved to approve Leroy Pieri as the ZBA alternate. Wellnitz supported. All Ayes. Motion carried.

Carpenter moved to hold our annual meeting and formal budget hearing on Saturday June 27, 2009 at 10:00am. Lofdahl supported All Ayes Motion Carried.

Lofdahl moved to adjourn. Wellnitz supported. All Ayes. Meeing adjourned at 9:55 p.m.
