Corinne I. Kee, 85, of Rexton, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Mackinac Straits Hospital in St. Ignace.

She was born in Detroit September 15, 1923, to Edward and Elizabeth (nee Marshall) Schultz.

She married Maurice Kee February 2, 1958, residing after their marriage in Redford Township. She was a devoted homemaker and a former secretary at Lincoln-Mercury in Detroit.

Mrs. Kee moved back to Rexton 15 years ago, where she enjoying a variety of hobbies, fishing, cooking, and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband, Maurice, of Rexton, two sons and their families, Martin and Sue of Canton and Marc and Joan of South Lyon, five grandchildren, and a sister, Madiline Amyot, of Clinton Township.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Myra Roose, and two brothers-in-law, Frank Roose and Robert Amyot.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 12, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Gregory's Catholic Church in Newberry with a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at the church with Father Frank Ricca officiating. Rite of Committal will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Rexton.

Beaulieu Funeral Home in Newberry assisted the family with arrangements.
