In 1970, he and his family returned to Engadine. He was employed at Harry Lucas Power Construction of Iron Mountain as a journeyman lineman.
In 1971, he purchased his father-in-law's dairy farm, and added farming to his career. Returning to the electrical field, he was employed as a journeyman lineman for Matchinski Electric in Brutus, and retired in 2007.
Mr. Legault was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He enjoyed woodwork, walking in the woods, and just being outside. He loved to fix things for himself and others, and had a giving heart, friends said, helping anyone in need.
