Family and friends will celebrate the 90th birthday of Jesse Barber Saturday afternoon, August 15, at the Garfield Township Hall.

The annual Rexton Mennonite Church potluck picnic will be Sunday, August 16, at the home of Esther Bigelow, on the bay in Epoufette. Whitefish fried to perfection will also be served.

The rains came down quite steadily, but that did not dampen the spirits of the Livermore clan as they gathered for their annual reunion at Round Lake, near Curtis. Following dinner, a first-time auction was held, bringing many rounds of laughter shared among family members.
