Debora Coxe of Moran Township will serve on the Moran Township Planning Commission, replacing Charles Lamoreaux, who resigned in May. The Moran Township Board of Trustees appointed her Wednesday, August 5.

Mrs. Coxe received training from the Michigan Townships Association, which will bring her up to speed on various ordinances, Moran Township trustee Lonnie Heuer said.

The planning commission consists of seven members who help develop zoning and land use ordinances.
