Hospice of Chippewa County will host its sixth annual Bike Festival Saturday, September 12, with registration from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at 4 Mile Beach, 4 mile and Nicolet, in Sault Ste. Marie.

The race will start at 4 mile and Riverside Drive with all routes on Riverside Drive. Start times depend on the distance of ride chosen. Casual riders can choose from 10, 20, or 30 mile rides, while competitive riders can choose 25 or 45 mile rides. Participants collect pledges to raise funds for hospice.

Hamburgers and grilled brats will be served at a “burger bash” after the race, and trophies will be awarded. The individual who raises the most money in pledges will be awarded a bicycle.
