Traffic crossing the Mackinac Bridge increased 8.6% for the month of July, compared to July 2008, according to the Mackinac Bridge Authority.

This July, 548,267 vehicles crossed the bridge, while 504,818 crossed during July 2008.

Fare revenue for July was up 6.7%, compared to 2008.
