The 18th annual St. Ignace Crop Walk will be Sunday, September 13, at 1 p.m. to raise money for people in need of food and clothing.

The four-mile walk begins at the United Methodist Church on the business loop of I-75. Walkers will proceed north through the downtown district and return to the church.

Twenty-five percent of the money raised will be given to the St. Ignace food pantry and the remaining funds are distributed to other countries for people in need.

The event is organized by local churches.

Those interested can register to walk or sponsor a walker the day of the event at Wesley Hall at the Methodist Church.
