Kathleen Peterson (left) of St. Ignace will teach at the Robin’s Nest Children’s Home in Montego Bay, Jamaica, for the 2009-2010 school year. She has resigned as special education teacher on Mackinac Island to take this post. She has been the special education teacher on the Island for the past two years. After visiting the orphanage on a mission trip in June with the Saints Alive Youth Group from Glen Memorial Baptist Church of St. Ignace, Miss Peterson decided to serve in Jamaica.
