Jordan Lavigne Pickford Pickford ran into the hot arm of Bryce Derouin and Bark River- Harris as the Broncos quarterback completed 28 of 43 passes for 341 yards and four touchdowns in a 29-8 MEFL win over the Panthers Friday, September 4.

The Broncos did all their offensive damage in the first half with two first-quarter touchdowns and two second-quarter scores.

Derouin opened the scoring on a 64-yard bomb to Lucas Kleiman for a 6-0 lead at the 8:35 mark. With 27 seconds on the clock, Derouin hooked up with Dustin Getzloff for a 13-yard touchdown pass and completed the two-point conversion pass to Brad Ives for a 14-0 advantage after the first 12 minutes.

Derouin used the same receiving core for second-quarter touchdowns as Getzloff caught a 13-yard scoring pass and Kleiman was the on the reception of a 46- yard pass. Nick Burns kicked one extra point and ran for the two-point conversion to give the Broncos a 29-0 advantage after three quarters.

The Panthers touchdown came at 5:17 of the fourth quarter on a Jordan Lavigne two-yard score. Dylan Rye added the two-point conversion.
