Jim and Julie (nee Barch) Fisher of Mackinac Island announce the birth of their son, Jordan James Fisher, born Thursday, August 13, 2009, at Cheboygan Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 5.25 ounces at birth and measured 19 inches in length.

He is the couple’s first child.

Grandparents are Joan Barch, and Willie and Debbie Fisher, all of Mackinac Island. Great-grandmother is Jean Carr of Stewart, Florida. Aunts and uncles are Tracy Quinter and Gabe Cowell, Jay and Nikki Barch, all of Mackinac Island, Ed and Dayna Tremble of Moran, and Craig and Maggie Barch of Marquette.
