McLeod, Eifler

LeRoy and Shelly Eifler LeRoy and Shelly Eifler Shelly McLeod of St. Ignace and LeRoy Eifler II of Battle Creek were united in marriage Saturday, August 1, 2009, at the United Methodist Church in St. Ignace with the Reverend Steven Ashafe and Pastor Ian Niecko officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Donald and Kathy McLeod of St. Ignace, and was given in marriage by her father.

The groom is the son of Dena Browne of Battle Creek.

The bride wore an ivory and platinum gown edged with flowers. She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies.

Jessica Garrison of Brighton was maid of honor, and was accompanied by bridesmaids Jenna Caponey of Livonia, Lisa Arther of Muskegon, and Sara McDuff of Battle Creek. The bridesmaids wore watermeloncolored, A-line dresses and carried an assortment of white and pink flowers.

Zachary Young served as best man and was accompanied by groomsmen Eric Allman and Trae Allman, both of Battle Creek, and Donnie McLeod of St. Ignace.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Tess Miller and Dawn Akers.

A reception was held on an Arnold Line ferry.

The bride is the granddaughter of Ray and Marvel Walker of St. Ignace and Charles Kingsbury of St. Ignace. She is employed at Phoenix School District Number 1 in Phoenix, Arizona.

The groom is employed by LandStar. He is the grandson of Ruby Eifler of Battle Creek.

The couple resides in Glendale, Arizona.
