Traffic crossing the Mackinac Bridge increased 0.7% for the month of August, compared to August 2008, according to the Mackinac Bridge Authority. This August, 557,125 vehicles crossed the bridge, while 553,171 crossed during August 2008.

Fare revenue for August was up 4.3%, compared to 2008.
