Rudyard
This year’s homecoming court at Rudyard included freshmen Adam Graber and Tynecia Sistrunk, sophomores Dustin Switzer and Lindsey Davis, juniors Logan McMillan and Eryn Reed, and seniors Ron Coffey, Lakota Captain, Davin Salo, Emily Jeffreys, Ricky Gere, Lindsie LaPointe, Brett Van- Sloten, JC Rizzo, Arik Hesselink, and Liz Schroeder.
Homecoming was a wonderful night, even for the parents. The sponsors were walked to the center of the track and had their dreams, future plans, favorite candy, and motta annouced. The result ended with Lakota Captain and Ron Coffey being crowned queen and king of this years homecoming. The game also was a success as the football team ended up winning, 39 to 16. A dance took place Saturday night were everyone was invited to dance the night away.
I loved homecoming week when I went to school. I came from a school of about 1,200 teenagers and the best part of homecoming was the pep rally before the big football game. Freshman and juniors sat on one side and sophomores and seniors sat on the other side and we would do our chants to see who was the loudest.
