Pickford Post Office To Feature Fundraising Stamp Next Week

Post office staff will wear pink when the Pickford Post Office hosts “Pink at the Post Office” Monday, September 29, through Friday, October 2, to promote the sale of the Breast Cancer Research fundraising stamp. Sales of the stamp benefit federal cancer research projects.

The Pickford Post Office will also have a display of pamphlets and gifts from the area for a drawing at the end of the week, Postmaster Marcia Leach reported.

The Breast Cancer Research stamp was issued in 1998 at the White House. It has raised more than $67 million for research.
